The Service for Accounting, Reporting, and Auditing Supervision (SARAS) will hold a series of regional information meetings on High-Quality Financial Reporting: A Practical Guide to the IFRS for SMEs and the Fourth Category Standards. These events aim to support small, medium, and micro enterprises in preparing and submitting high-quality, standard-compliant financial reports.

Meetings will be held in four cities in November:

- November 24, 12:00 p.m., Batumi. Address: Batumi Branch of the Ministry of Finance Academy, 8 Bako Street, Batumi.

- November 25, 12:00 p.m. Kutaisi. Address: 3 Rustaveli Street, Kutaisi City Hall Building, 2nd Floor, Room 210.

- November 27, 12:00 p.m., Gori. Address: 5 G. Feradze Street, Gori Municipality Hall, Conference Hall (first floor).

- November 28, 1:00 p.m. Akhaltsikhe. Address: 2 Sh. Akhaltsikheli Street. Council Building, First Floor.

The series of meetings will include in-depth discussions on the structure of the IFRS for SMEs and the Fourth Category Standards. Participants will receive practical advice and guidance on ensuring the quality of their reporting and complying with the requirements. 

Special attention will be given to the following topics:

- Cases of non-compliance with the standards, including common errors made by enterprises during the reporting process.

- Presentation of samples and specific examples demonstrating how to properly prepare certain types of notes;

- Legislative and legal aspects will also be covered.

Each event will end with a Q&A session, allowing participants to receive answers on challenges and topics of their interest.

SARAS initiative is an important step forward in improving the quality and compliance of financial reporting among small, medium, and micro enterprises.
