Reports Submission Process for the 2024 Reporting Period – SARAS held information meetings across Georgia
The Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision (SARAS), in collaboration with the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors and the Georgian Federation of Auditors, Accountants and Financial Managers, held a series of annual informational meetings across the country.
The meetings were held in the municipalities identified through a preliminary survey: Batumi, Ozurgeti, Poti, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Telavi, and Tbilisi. The events reached over 500 enterprise representatives in total.
SARAS staff shared relevant information and analysis of common submission errors with invited guests and stakeholders to help them simplify the report submission process and improve the quality of submitted reports. The meetings were interactive, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers. Notably, the meeting locations were selected based on a stakeholder survey, which clearly showed that such meetings were needed in regions like Guria, especially in Ozurgeti.
We would like to express our gratitude to our partner organizations — the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors, and the Georgian Federation of Auditors, Accountants and Financial Managers.
