On 4 December at 11:00, SARAS will hold an information session on the process of reviewing financial statements and frequently identified non-compliances with IFRS standards, with the aim of assisting entities in the preparation of quality financial statements
SARAS will hold an information meeting for stakeholders, auditors and representatives of entities that prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRSs and IFRS for SMEs. The objective of the meeting is to inform the participants about the non-compliances identified as a result of the review of the financial statements and the characteristics of quality financial reporting.
The meeting will analyze the most frequent non-compliances with IFRS standards identified during the whole year and present relevant recommendations. At the same time, the principles of financial reporting and effective communication will be discussed in order to promote greater compliance with financial reporting standards. Emphasis will be placed on materiality and its quantitative and qualitative factors that underpin the preparation of financial statements.
