SARAS launches a series of regional info sessions on the reporting process
The Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision (SARAS), with the support of the Rural Small and Medium Enterprise Development Project (RSMEDP), is launching its annual series of regional informational meetings on the reporting process.
The events are designed for representatives of III and IV category enterprises, accountants, and other stakeholders in financial reporting.
During the sessions, SARAS representatives will review the financial statements submission process, its key stages and common practical errors. Participants will gain valuable insights and receive recommendations on important considerations for preparing and submitting reports.
The events will also cover the availability of trade and alternative financing instruments in Georgia, how to effectively select banking products, strategic financial consultancy and how to practically apply Excel-based analytical tools. The meetings will be conducted in an interactive format.
Venues were selected based on the results of a preliminary survey conducted among accountants and enterprise representatives. Consequently, the informational events will take place in regions that showed the highest level of need and interest.
