SARAS hosted Polish Agency for Audit Oversight (PANA) for international exchange
A delegation from the Polish Agency for Audit Oversight (PANA) visited SARAS.
A working meeting was held at SARAS office on 19 May, focusing on sharing experiences in audit oversight, enforcement, inspection, stakeholder communication and institutional development. The meeting aimed to strengthen professional cooperation with PANA and to discuss practical matters crucial for the further development of SARAS's operations, efficiency and oversight mechanisms.
SARAS and PANA representatives summarized topics discussed during previous working visits to Poland and Ireland. The practical application of this experience was emphasized, including ongoing developments in enforcement, inspection processes, and key approaches to improving the audit oversight system.
The meeting also covered SARAS's plans regarding stakeholder communication and feedback. It was noted that consistent, structured and results-oriented communication between the regulator and stakeholders is vital for developing the oversight system.
Human resource management matters, such as planned approaches to attracting and retaining professional staff, motivation mechanisms, and strengthening teamwork were also considered.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session and follow-up discussion. Participants discussed the practical application of international experience, as well as the steps required for further developing the audit oversight system and reinforcing SARAS's institutional capabilities.
