We would like to remind you that according to Article 4 paragraph (16) of the Law of Georgia on Accounting, Reporting and Auditing, “an entity shall be liable for its internal control system and for preparing and presenting fair financial statements under procedures established by the legislation of Georgia.” According to the same Article paragraph (17), “Persons who are responsible for drawing up and signing documents shall be liable for the veracity of the data recorded in such documents, and for drawing up accounting documents in a timely and quality manner.”
